We do not generally have a strict set of rules that everyone must follow while browsing our website. But for the sake of alleviating any confusion the following items represent what we feel is appropriate behavior. These guidelines do not unfairly target anyone in particular and are just meant to make the site as clean and friendly to both ourselves and visitors.

• Disclaimer

Everything on and about this site is provided as is. No guarantees are made to files that you upload, information that you contribute, private messages in any of your mailboxes, or posts thats you have made to the forums. Should something be lost in the course of this website's lifetime we will not take responsibility for any perceived loss of property. Taking that as such you should not use the file upload capability as personal file storage, or expect private messages in your inbox to be there forever. Backup of any sensitive information is your job not the website's.

• Registration

Many checks are made to the data you enter as registration information. The length of your user name and password, validity of the email address typed, and etc. Also certain domains are restricted on given email addresses. For example any Russian email address ending in .ru are barred from registering here. That is due to the unfortunate volume of spam posts we were getting through the old site. But unfortunately there are no checks against a user name for profanity. No system exists to deal with all variations of a particular obscenity. Therefore if you register an account using a profane user name your account could be subject to administrator modification and/or a ban. No blatant profane user names will be allowed. Please think before registering an account.

• Site Content

This is a website for a group of gamers. As such, at times, something posted on our forums, in the news posts, or other areas of the site may contain language that could be considered off-color, vulgar, or suggestive. Generally anything that fits that criteria is for the most part harmless and in jest but it could be considered unacceptable by some. If something on the site offends your religious beliefs, personal sense of morality, or for whatever reason just is not passable in your opinion we're sorry, but we will not modify content to suit every individual's values. This does not mean that anything goes on our website. The following is a short list of things we absolutely will not accept under any circumstances:

• Racism and racial insults
• Sexual harrasment
• Pornographic material
• Pirated materials (files, images, etc)

Failure to follow the above guidelines will result in a warning or even a ban. Please feel free to ask us on the forums if you have questions about posting something.

• Personal Attacks

As was said at the very beginning of these guidelines, it should be a given that you know not to personally attack anyone on the forums, in private messages, or otherwise. This includes attacks on someone's view points, religion, ethnicity, gender, and etc. Save your personal indignance for some other person, place, and time as it will not be allowed here. Use your best judgement. Anyone who has reached adulthood, or is getting there, should be able to tell the difference between joking around and personal attacks.

• Spamming

This guideline applies more to professional spammers and spambots than anyone else. We do not care if spamming advertisements on website forums is your job and is what puts the borscht on your table. Any spamming of your website or of advertisements is not allowed on this website. We do not need any Viagra or various enlargements that your clients offer. Solicitation on here will get you banned, which includes the account used to post and the IP address you posted under.
